For instance, a typical message may read: “On December 10, 2025, your vehicle was detected by a traffic camera for a violation. Kindly take required action to settle it https://Ink.ink/irtues.” Clicking such links can result in unauthorized debits from linked bank accounts.

Authorities emphasize that genuine traffic challans do not have an expiry date, and verification should only be done through official government websites. Drivers are also reminded that staying alert on roads not only helps prevent accidents but also avoids unnecessary challans.
