A 17-month-old boy from Mahabubabad district has recovered from a life-threatening illness following the intervention of the Chief Minister's Prajavani programme and financial assistance under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF).

Dr. G. Chinnareddy, in-charge of CM Prajavani, handed over a CMRF cheque of Rs. 6 lakh to the child's father, Banoth Srinu, during the Prajavani programme held on Tuesday.

Vaishnav Nandan, son of cab driver Banoth Srinu and Anjali from Intikanne village in Kesamudram mandal, was suffering from severe respiratory complications and pneumonia. As his condition worsened, the family approached CM Prajavani on January 7 seeking urgent help.

Following the appeal, the Prajavani team coordinated with hospital authorities to ensure the child received advanced treatment while also facilitating a reduction in medical expenses. After months of treatment, the toddler has now made a full recovery.

Expressing gratitude, the child's parents thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, CM Prajavani in-charge Dr. G. Chinnareddy, and State Nodal Officer Divya Devarajan for their timely intervention, financial support, and assistance that helped save their son's life.
