Malayalam actor Pranav Mohanlal, son of Superstar Mohanlal, is gearing up to thrill Telugu audiences with his latest mystery-horror film Dies Irae. The Telugu version, presented by the renowned Sri Sravanthi Movies, will have paid premieres on the night of November 7, followed by a grand theatrical release across both Telugu states on November 8.

Directed by Rahul Sadasivan—known for acclaimed films like Bhoothakaalam and Bhramayugam—Dies Irae has been jointly produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S. Sashikanth under Night Shift Studios, in association with YNOT Studios. The Malayalam version, which released on October 31, received glowing reviews and strong box-office collections, setting high expectations for its Telugu release.

The recently released Telugu trailer opens with visuals of a grand mansion and a tense atmosphere. A man is shown holding a woman’s hair clip, while a haunting voice declares, “When the sky and earth turn to ashes, the world will be filled with fear.” Without revealing much of the plot, the trailer promises an intense blend of mystery and horror.

The film features Sushmita Bhatt, Jibin Gopinath, Jaya Kurup, Manohari Joy, and Arun Ajikumar alongside Pranav Mohanlal. Music for Dies Irae is composed by Christo Xavier. Sri Sravanthi Movies, which previously brought non-Telugu hits like Pushpaka Vimana, Nayakudu, and Raghuvaran B.Tech, aims to recreate similar success with this horror thriller.
