Metro India News | Hyderabad Director of Census Operations for Telangana, Bharathi Hollikeri, reviewed the ongoing Pre-Test Census 2027 activities during her field visit to Ramachandrapuram, Ward No.112, on Wednesday. She interacted with enumerators and supervisors, examined the progress of household listing, and verified field-level documentation. The Director also gathered feedback on the operational and technical challenges faced during data collection.
She instructed field staff to ensure accurate, error-free and timely completion of the Pre-Test Census tasks by the 30th of this month, while strictly adhering to prescribed guidelines and protocols.Deputy Commissioner and Charge Officer for GHMC Ramachandrapuram, Suresh, along with V. Sreekanth, Deputy Director of the Directorate of Census Operations, Telangana, accompanied her during the inspection.
Officials reiterated that the Pre-Test Census serves as an important exercise to refine methodologies, test field strategies and strengthen operational systems ahead of Census 2027. The exercise, they said, ensures that the final census process is comprehensive, efficient and capable of delivering high-quality data crucial for planning and governance.
