Whether it’s before marriage or after, women must be resolute. In both politics and business, I pushed myself forward. As a housewife, I was asked to take charge of Heritage.

Tracing the hardships faced by her father N T Rama Rao, the incredible comeback made by her husband N Chandrababu Naidu and the lessons she taught Lokesh, her son and in between reeling out dialogues of her brother Balakrishna, Nara Bhuvaneshwari caught the attention of the students of Kuppam Government Degree College here on Thursday.

Addressing the youth, Bhuvaneshwari expressed deep concerns about the rising menace of drugs and marijuana, which she said are ruining the future of young people. “Many will try to tempt you for their personal gain. You must remain cautious and disciplined. Choose a role model and stay focused,” she advised the students. Highlighting the crucial role of women in every man's success, she encouraged students, particularly young women, to believe in their strength and capabilities.

Reflecting on her own college days, Bhuvaneshwari shared, “Looking at you all brings back my college memories. I wasn’t much different from you back then. Seeing you fills me with pride. You are the future of India and Andhra Pradesh. Walk forward for your rights. Your parents work hard to provide for you, it’s not easy. Success doesn’t come for free; it requires hard work and perseverance.”

Addressing young women, she emphasized determination and self-confidence, saying, “Whether it’s before marriage or after, women must be resolute. In both politics and business, I pushed myself forward. As a housewife, I was asked to take charge of Heritage. I didn’t know anything about managing it back then, but I took on the responsibility and moved forward. Every woman has the strength to achieve great things if she stays focused.”

Sharing personal anecdotes, she said, “My father, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, worked hard to support his family, even selling milk to fund his education. Chandrababu walked kilometers to study under streetlights. I taught my son Lokesh the same lesson: nothing in life comes for free. Hard work is the only way forward.”

She urged students to value their parents and teachers, saying, “Never forget your teachers. Respect them always. Everyone makes mistakes, but pointing fingers at others doesn’t help, remember that four fingers always point back at you. I have faced all these challenges in my journey, whether in business or politics.”

Speaking on the impact of social media, she cautioned students, “Platforms like social media and YouTube are distancing you from your families. Prioritize your family over gadgets. Social media is pulling families apart. Give importance to your relationships.”

Concluding her interaction, Bhuvaneshwari motivated the students to work towards their dreams with discipline and teamwork. “You are the future leaders in every field. Discipline is crucial. Without it, I wouldn’t have come this far. Respect teamwork in organizations. Success lies in collective effort and responsibility. Always approach life with positivity, and remember the importance of your parents, teachers, and hard work.”
