The producers of Pushpa film have got relief in the Telangana High Court in the Sandhya Theatre stampede incident. The High Court has issued an interim order to the police not to take any action on them until further orders.
The producers of Pushpa have approached the High Court against being included as accused in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.
Mythri Movies producers Yelamanchili Ravishankar and Yarneni Naveen have filed a petition in the High Court. The matter came up for hearing in the High Court on Thursday. The producers have said that they are not involved in this case and that the case should be dismissed.
After hearing the arguments, the High Court has issued an interim order not to arrest them until further orders.
The petitioners' lawyer told the High Court that the petitioners themselves had informed the police about the incident. However, he said that they were included as accused due to an unexpected incident at the Sandhya Theatre. After hearing the arguments, the court issued an interim order not to arrest the producers.
