PVN Madhav takes charge, vows to strengthen party’s base

Former MLC Pokala Vamsi Nagendra Madhav (PVN Madhav) has officially assumed charge as the new president of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Andhra Pradesh unit.  The leadership baton was formally handed over to PVN Madhav by Rajahmundry MP and outgoing BJP state president Daggubati Purandeswari.

PVN Madhav said, “It is a moment of pride and responsibility. I thank the party leadership for giving me this opportunity. My sincere appreciation to PC Mohan for smoothly overseeing the election process.”

PVN Madhav, known for his ideological grounding and long-standing association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), said he would work relentlessly to transform the BJP into a formidable political force in Andhra Pradesh. “My family and the BJP are not separate—we are one and the same.

This party is not just an organization; it’s a mission,” he declared. He praised the leadership of Purandeswari, under whom the party secured eight MLAs and three MPs in the recent elections. “In the past two years, she strengthened the party and laid a solid foundation.
