Telangana is no longer an emerging player, it's a national IT leader, driving growth through infrastructure, innovation, and inclusive development. Under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu, the state is reshaping India’s tech landscape. In FY 2023–24, Telangana clocked Rs 2.7 lakh crore in IT/ITES exports growing at 11.3% YoY, nearly 4x the national average. Hyderabad ranks among the top three Indian IT cities, adding over 40,000 new jobs last year.
With 355+ Global Capability Centres and 70 added just last year Telangana is now India’s fastest-growing GCC hub. These centres, run by tech giants like Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce, are evolving into Global Value Centres (GVCs), leading innovation from Telangana. Telangana is expanding IT to Tier-II cities like Warangal, Karimnagar, and Khammam through IT Towers, creating jobs and start-up opportunities across the state.
At WEF 2025 in Davos, Telangana secured Rs 1.78 lakh crore in investments Rs 1.04 lakh crore for IT and digital infra. Major global players like FedEx, ZF, Uber, and UAE-based Shaiva Group are investing and expanding. Telangana is setting the pace for India’s digital future — not just with policy, but with performance. Backed by strong leadership and a clear vision, it’s building a tech-driven, inclusive economy for the decade ahead.
