‘Ranabaali’ team hold success meet ‘Ranabheri’

Vijay Deverakonda’s ambitious pan-India film Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan and featuring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, has been produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, with T-Series presenting the film. Following film’s success, the team organized a Ranabheri event in Anantapur, where the cast and producers expressed their gratitude to audiences, particularly those from Rayalaseema. Producer Naveen Yerneni complimented that director Rahul had a strong vision to tell this story, Vijay Deverakonda has done complete justice to the character of Ranabaali and Rashmika lived the role of Jayamma. He said that Ranabaali has emerged as the biggest blockbuster of Vijay’s career. Producer Y. Ravi Shankar stated that it was Vijay’s wish to organize an event for the film in Anantapur, and he was determined to make it happen here.

Director Rahul Sankrityan recalled that he was born, raised and educated in Rayalaseema. “This is a script into which I poured all my memories. Through Ranabaali, I feel that I have repaid, at least in part, the debt I owe to the land where I was born,” he said emotionally. Hero Vijay Deverakonda said that Telugu land is home to diverse festivals, traditions, dialects and people. He said that he acted in Ranabaali not merely as an actor but with a sense of responsibility to tell the story of Rayalaseema.
