Ravikumar elected Red Cross district Chairman, members meet MLA

K.S. Ravikumar has been unanimously elected as the new Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Mahabubnagar District Branch. Ramakrishnaiah and G. Ramanaiah have been elected as Vice-President and Treasurer, respectively. On Saturday, the newly elected Chairman, Vice-President, Treasurer, and members of the Red Cross Society paid a courtesy visit to Government Whip and Mahabubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy at his MLA camp office in the district headquarters.

The MLA felicitated them by presenting shawls and conveyed his best wishes to the newly elected office-bearers and members.The MLA advised the new governing body to work towards providing better and more extensive services to the people of the district through the Red Cross, an international humanitarian organization. He particularly emphasized the need to immediately support people affected by natural disasters and other emergency situations. City Deputy Mayor Marepally Surender Reddy and others participated in the program.
