Chief Minister A.  Revanth Reddy attended the Congress Working Committee ( CWC) meeting in New Delhi on Saturday. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge chaired a meeting of the CWC at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters at Indira Bhawan in New Delhi. The meeting was attended by around 80 senior leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Digvijay Singh, Meira Kumar, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Ashok Gehlot, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and special invitees.

This meeting was primarily focused on extensively discussing the shortcomings of the new law that changed the name of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) to 'G Ram G' (or VB-G RAM G). Similarly, a plan of action was discussed for a nationwide protest against changing the name of the scheme, which is currently named after Mahatma Gandhi.
