Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has informed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will launch the Indira Giri Solar Water Development scheme at Chenchu Colony in Achampet of Nagarkurnool district on  May 18.

The scheme is implemented with an estimated cost of Rs. 12,500 crores. Under the scheme, each tribal farmer will be provided with a solar-powered pump set, sprinklers, and free plants such as avocado and palm oil. Plans have been made in coordination with the horticulture department to ensure tribals earn income every three months, Bhatti said.

Speaking at a public meeting held at Lakshmi Narasimhapuram in Illandu constituency of Mahabubabad district on Tuesday, Bhatti Vikramarka said that despite financial constraints, the government was implementing welfare schemes worth thousands of crores without placing any burden on the people. He emphasized that many more welfare initiatives are on the way.

Bhatti Vikramarka alleged that the BRS party does not want a people-centric government and for the past ten years, due to their plundering rule, crucial welfare schemes like farm loan waivers, Indiramma housing, and Rajiv Yuva Vikasam did not reach the people. The Deputy Chief Minister noted that the current government is planning to sanction additional Indiramma houses in tribal constituencies.

Referring to the previous government, he said that during the Congress regime, under the Forest Rights Act, tribal farmers were granted land rights. But when they attempted to cultivate this land in the last ten years, they were brutally attacked—women were tied to trees and beaten.

The Deputy Chief Minister pointed out that when Telangana was handed over to the Congress government, the previous rulers left a debt burden of Rs. 7 lakh crores. In their 10-year rule, they didn’t deliver a single double-bedroom house, didn’t distribute three acres of land to any Dalit, didn’t provide a job per household, and abandoned promises like establishing KG to PG schools in every mandal.

He questioned why, despite taking loans worth Rs. 7 lakh crores, the KCR government failed to construct even a major industry or a large irrigation project like Nagarjuna Sagar or SRSP. Bhatti Vikramarka criticised the KCR family for pushing the state to bankruptcy by misusing public funds, while now they claim to speak for the welfare of the state.

"The entire cabinet under Revanth Reddy is working tirelessly with the intention to do good for the state. A total of 3,500 Indiramma houses have been sanctioned in each constituency, and 4.5 lakh houses will be constructed by spending Rs. 22,500 crores.’’
