RG RAO Educational Trust celebrated its 20th Foundation Day at Surya Global School in Bachupally on Tuesday, marking two decades of contribution to the education sector. The Trust has supported the education of more than 1,000 children, particularly from rural and underprivileged backgrounds, over the past 20 years.
The programme was attended by retired IAS officer S. Narasingha Rao, Prof. Ramaiah, High Court advocate Gandra Mohana Rao and other distinguished guests from the fields of education and public service. The speakers praised the Trust’s commitment to providing quality education and creating opportunities for students from diverse sections of society.
The event also coincided with Telangana Formation Day celebrations. Participants highlighted the State’s progress and development since its formation and underscored the importance of education in social transformation.
Students presented cultural performances, adding colour to the celebrations, while several alumni returned to their alma mater and shared their success stories with the gathering. The dignitaries congratulated the Trust on its achievements and expressed confidence that it would continue its mission of empowering future generations through accessible and value-based education.
