Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women has been awarded the Environmental Excellence Award and recognized as a Platinum Sustainable Campus Partner at the Bharat Environment Program – Sustainable Campus Impact Summit & Awards 2026. The event was organized by the Research Heights Foundation in association with the Environment Protection Training & Research Institute (EPTRI) and held at the Global Peace Auditorium, Shanti Sarovar, Gachibowli.
The college received the recognition for successfully conducting six sustainability-focused activities during Earth Week from April 22 to 29, demonstrating its commitment to environmental conservation, sustainable development, and community engagement.
The summit brought together policymakers, environmental experts, academicians, researchers, industry leaders, and educational institutions from across the country. Distinguished guests included former DRDO Chairman Dr. G. Satish Reddy and former AICTE Chairman Prof. T.G. Sitharam. The award acknowledged the institution’s efforts in promoting environmental awareness through tree plantation drives, waste management initiatives, energy conservation measures, and sustainable campus activities. The award was received by Dr. Guntha Karthik, Director (R&D), Dr. Kanaka Durga, Head of IT Department, M. Sandeepta, Qamar Fatima, and Ruman Zubair. College Correspondent Sri Krishna Rao, Directors R. Pradeep Reddy and T. Rakesh Reddy, and Principal Dr. B.L. Raju congratulated the faculty and students on the achievement.
