Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who previously repurposed her white gown from her fairytale 2017 wedding to Naga Chaitanya into a black beaded bodice gown, has now reportedly transformed her engagement ring into a pendant. This shocking claim was made by Surat-based jewellery designer Dhrumit Merulia on his social media handle.

Sharing a video, Dhrumit explained that the actress is often spotted wearing the pendant regularly. He also mentioned that she is not the only one to have repurposed her engagement ring after the divorce, he also called it a ‘growing trend.’

“Many people are even buying new divorce rings to celebrate their new life,” he claimed in a video.  In 2024, Samantha wore a revamped version of her wedding gown at an awards ceremony, which was designed by her close friend, designer Kresha Bajaj.
