Minister for Health Damodar Raja Narasimha has revealed that the Sanathnagar TIMS hospital will officially open in time for the Ugadi festival. During a site visit on Tuesday, the Minister examined the ongoing construction of the hospital and confirmed that it is set to be inaugurated by Ugadi.
"The construction of the hospital building is nearing completion, although a bit of electrical work remains. We are also in the final stages of installing operation theaters, diagnostic facilities, and other equipment. The setup of larger machines, such as the MRI, which features cutting-edge technology, has already been completed," Raja Narasimha noted."We're not focused on publicity; our goal is to enhance medical services for the community. By Ugadi, we aim to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients here," he emphasised.
The Minister also mentioned that the government is ensuring a full range of medical services in this 1000-bed facility.He added that Sanathnagar TIMS will serve as a Center of Excellence for heart-related treatments, along with conducting essential research in this field.
"We are setting up a top-notch organ transplantation centre and will offer advanced operation theaters for all types of organ transplant surgeries," he explained.
Raja Narasimha also pointed out that the state government has filled around 10,000 posts in the health sector over the past two years and is currently in the process of recruiting more than 7,000 additional staff."We will be issuing more job notifications soon. There will be no shortage of doctors, nurses, or paramedical personnel," he assured.
