Sanitation facilities boost for minority girls’ school in Burgampahad

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, Nava Bharat Energy India Limited, Palvancha, inaugurated new sanitation facilities at the Telangana Minority Residential Girls’ School in Burgampahad on Thursday. The initiative aims to improve hygiene and provide a safer, healthier environment for students.

Burgampahad Tahsildar K.R.K.V. Prasad attended the programme as the chief guest. School principal P.V. Geetajyothi welcomed the initiative and said the company’s support has played an important role in strengthening basic infrastructure in the school, especially facilities essential for girl students.

Addressing the gathering, Tahsildar K.R.K.V. Prasad appreciated Nava Bharat Energy India Limited for extending consistent support to government schools. He said the provision of sanitation facilities reflects the company’s commitment to student welfare and quality education.

Nava Bharat Energy India Limited Head–CSR, C.H. Srinivasa Rao, briefed the audience on the company’s ongoing CSR activities. He stated that the company has been supporting several government schools by setting up science laboratories, supplying laboratory equipment, appointing skilled teachers for computer education, and arranging free tuition for students. He added that sanitation and handwash facilities have been provided in 39 government schools where students earlier faced difficulties due to the absence of proper washrooms.

Licence Officer Prasad, Assistant Manager (Civil) Karunakar, and CSR faculty member Venkateshwarlu were also present at the programme.
