Senior BRS leader joins Congress in Sanath Nagar

Former BRS President of the Ameerpet Division and senior party leader from Sanath Nagar Assembly constituency  Butti Rajashekhar from joined the Congress party on Wednesday, along with his supporters Ramya Goud and Chakradhar Yadav. They were formally inducted into the party by Secunderabad DCC President Deepak John and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Vice President and Sanath Nagar Congress Constituency In-charge, Dr. Kota Neelima, who welcomed them by draping the Congress party scarf.

Speaking on the occasion, Butti Rajashekhar said that the Congress government's welfare-oriented and development-driven initiatives in Telangana had greatly impressed him. Deepak John extended a warm welcome to Butti Rajashekhar and the other leaders and supporters who joined the Congress Party. Dr. Kota Neelima expressed happiness over BRS leaders and party workers voluntarily joining the Congress Party, attributing the trend to their faith in the party's ideology and its people-centric welfare initiatives.
