SiliconAndhra ManaBadi has commenced the 2026–2027 academic year with a contribution to a new Guinness World Record. During the Silver Jubilee celebrations of its parent organization, SiliconAndhra, held at Oakland, California, ManaBadi students, alumni, teachers and coordinators played a pivotal role in setting the Guinness World Record for the largest Telugu poetry group recitation.
A total of 1,712 participants recited 18 selected poems from the Sumathi Satakam and Vemana Satakam from memory. Chamarthi Raju, President and Dean of SiliconAndhra ManaBadi, mentioned that the event is a testament to what ManaBadi has achieved over the years. He appealed to grandparents in India to encourage their children living in the United States to enroll their grandchildren in ManaBadi so they can learn and cherish their mother tongue.
Since its inception, SiliconAndhra ManaBadi institution has taught over 110,000 students to read, write, and speak Telugu and also SiliconAndhra has developed the Balaranjani Learning App, which allows students to reinforce their lessons through interactive learning activities at their convenience. Admissions for the 2026–2027 academic year are now open. Classes will commence during the first weekend of September 2026 at more than 250 ManaBadi centers across the United States and Canada.
