The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on Sunday inaugurated a 150 kW rooftop on-grid solar power project at Tekulapalli Colony in Illandu Area. SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N. Balaram Naik formally launched the facility and inspected the plant’s construction, performance and generation capacity. Engineering officials briefed him on operational features and expected energy savings.

Later, the CMD performed the bhoomi puja for the proposed library building at Regallapadu and interacted with locals, assuring that construction would be completed at the earliest. At the Illandu Area office, he held a detailed review meeting with Area General Manager V. Krishnaiah on the solar project’s technical aspects, energy-saving potential and future expansion plans.

SO to GM D. Ramaswamy, KOC PO Govinda Rao, DGM (Personnel) Ajmeer Tukaram, DGM (Civil) Ravikumar, DGM (IED) Prabhakar, DGM (Workshop) Nagaraju and other officials participated, according to official spokesperson Ajmeer Tukaram.
