The event, conducted from April 30 to May 5, saw participation from several countries including China, Canada, Australia, Poland, Colombia and Zambia. Indian teams from Coal India and Singareni competed among global rescue units, with Singareni emerging as the best in its category after nearly two decades.

In the technical test, team member Sai Krishna completed a complex task in just 52 minutes, well ahead of the allotted time. In the underground rescue simulation held at a depth of 700 meters, the team successfully located and rescued two trapped individuals within 52 minutes, despite being given two hours. They efficiently handled critical tasks such as power shutdown, equipment setup and victim evacuation under strict monitoring by judges.
