Skills as important as qualification: InternVision founder

Metro India News | Hyderabad : In today’s competitive world, skills are as important as educational qualifications for securing a job, said Thirumala Reddy, founder of InternVision Technology Private Limited. A pre-placement awareness program was organized for MBA and BBA students on Wednesday by the Department of Commerce and Management Studies at Vignan’s University, Hyderabad Campus. Students were also given guidance on how to face interviews effectively and develop the skills required by companies. Thirumala Reddy highlighted the importance of communication skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork and self-confidence in securing employment.

He also advised them to upgrade their skills in line with changing technologies and focus on preparing effective résumés, maintaining punctuality and presenting their abilities confidently during interviews. The program helped students gain a better understanding of the job market and the skills required to make the most of future employment opportunities. Ramula Meghana, Human Resources executive at InternVision Technology, Vignan’s University Director Dr S. Anil Kumar, Deans, Heads of Departments and staff members attended the program.
