SP’s village visit initiative gains momentum

Superintendent of Police Dr. Shabarish has launched innovative community-oriented policing initiatives after assuming charge in Mahabubabad district. To strengthen public engagement, he introduced a “No Entry” program in selected villages and is actively promoting helmet usage to reduce road accidents, identified as a major safety concern.

Continuing these efforts, the SP initiated a new “village visit” program on Tuesday, personally touring select villages under various police station limits. As part of this, he visited Ponugodu village under Gudur police station limits, where he interacted with residents and reviewed local conditions.

Dr. Shabarish assessed safety measures, including helmet compliance, CCTV installation, and monitoring systems. He expressed satisfaction over strict helmet usage and extensive CCTV coverage. He emphasized that coordinated efforts between police and villagers can ensure crime-free and safer communities.
