SR University is all set to host its 3rd Convocation Ceremony at the university campus on June 6. This announcement was made by Prof. Deepak Garg, Vice Chancellor of SR University, during a meeting held on Tuesday.

The Chief Guest for the convocation will be Dr. G Satheesh Reddy, Honorary Advisor (Cabinet Rank) to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the Aerospace and Defence Manufacturing Hub and President of the Aeronautical Society of India. Dr. Reddy is a distinguished personality who previously served as the Secretary of Defence R&D, Chairman of DRDO, and Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister.

Adding further prestige to the ceremony, renowned music composer, playback singer, and lyricist M M Keeravani will be conferred with an Honorary Doctorate (Honoris Causa) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Indian cinema and global music.

The convocation ceremony will feature an academic procession, honorary degree conferment, distribution of medals and degrees to graduates, along with various celebrations. Over 3,000 attendees are expected, including graduating students, faculty, staff, alumni, dignitaries, and their families.
