IT, Industries and Commerce Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu extended financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh to support the education and welfare of the children of late Burra Nagaraja Rao, District Manager of T-Fiber, who passed away due to illness.
At the Secretariat on Thursday, the Minister handed over a fixed deposit certificate worth Rs 3 lakh to Nagaraja Rao’s daughter Supreethi. The 14-year-old student attended the meeting along with her grandmother Venkata Lakshmi, who is currently taking care of the two children.
During the interaction, the Minister encouraged Supreethi to continue her studies with determination and assured that the government would stand by the family whenever support is required. He advised her to stay focused on education and approach his office for any help.
Supreethi’s mother passed away in June last year, while her father died in September, leaving the two children orphaned. They are now being looked after by their grandmother in Huzurabad.
Following the Minister’s directions, T-Fiber Corporation Managing Director Panneru Venu Prasad arranged a Rs 3 lakh fixed deposit to help secure the children’s educational future. Nagaraja Rao’s son Sampreeth is pursuing Intermediate, while Supreethi studies in Class 9.
