Shah Rukh Khan made history with his much-anticipated debut at the Met Gala 2025, becoming the first Indian actor to grace the iconic red carpet.  Ofcourse, there's that video of going viral in which it looks like the reporters at the red carpet failed to recognise him.  For his debut, SRK wore a custom all-black tailored suit designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, delivering a powerful and elegant style statement.

The highlight of his look was his striking layered jewellery, featuring gold chains and a bold, oversized ‘K’ pendant — a tribute to his title, “King Khan.” However, a lot of people on social media seemed let down by his outfit. And yes, then there was the conspiracy theory when netizens dug out an uncanny connection between SRK and Priyanka, when they had sported similar looks while attending a polo match together in 2007.

The first look of Diljit was revealed across social media platforms. The viral video showed Diljit in an impeccably tailored white ensemble that featured a structured suit layered with a traditional Indian drape, exuding royal finesse.

Isha Ambani rocks black dandyism theme

Isha Ambani once again stole the show at the Met Gala, this year in an exquisite outfit designed by Indian designer Anamika Khanna. Director at Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, Isha Ambani made a powerful fashion statement in an embroidered white corset teamed with black tailored trousers and an ornate floor-grazing cape, which took over 20,000 hours to embroider. The androgynous fashion look complemented this year’s Met Gala theme of Black Dandyism. The ensemble was further accentuated with semi-precious stones and intricate traditional pearls.

Kiara Advani makes breathtaking debut

Bollywood actress and mom-to-be Kiara Advani made her much-anticipated Met Gala debut in New York City — and it was nothing short of iconic. Walking the famed steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the first time, Kiara embraced this year’s theme, “Tailored for You”, with a deeply personal narrative woven into couture.

What truly made her appearance historic? The glowing actress proudly debuted her baby bump on the red carpet, turning heads in a breathtaking creation by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta. Kiara’s Met Gala look, titled “Bravehearts”, wasn’t just another red carpet moment — it was a sartorial love letter to motherhood, legacy, and inner strength. Blending Indian craftsmanship with avant-garde fashion, she stunned in a sculptural ensemble featuring an antique gold breastplate, intricately adorned with ghungroos and shimmering crystals, symbolising both tradition and bold femininity.

Among the evening’s most buzzworthy appearances was that of Mona Patel, whose avant-garde ensemble and unexpected accessory firmly placed her on every best-dressed list. She certainly brought the drama that the Met Gala calls for! Mona wore a custom three-piece creation by Thom Browne, known for reimagining classic tailoring through a contemporary lens.

The outfit was a celebration of structure and femininity — a sharp black suit elevated with a beaded corseted bodice, giving silhouette an hourglass shape while paying homage to South Asian aesthetics. Peeking from underneath was a white halter shirt, adding dimension and contrast. She paired the look with tailored black pants, clean-cut and precise, reinforcing the theme of modern suiting.
