11 such offices to be completed by State Formation Day next year

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy today announced that the Congress Government is set to revolutionize public service delivery by constructing Integrated Sub Registrar Offices and District Registrar Offices with world-class facilities on par with Five Star Hotels and International Airports.

Laying the foundation stone for the Integrated Sub Registrar and District Registrar Office at Gachibowli, the Chief Minister declared that 11 such modern offices will be completed and operational by the next State Formation Day (June 2, 2026). These offices, he said, would bring a permanent solution to public grievances in registration services and will generate substantial revenues for the State.

The CM emphasized that these facilities are being constructed without any burden on the State exchequer, by roping in Corporate and Private players under CSR initiatives. It may be mentioned here that Aparna Constructions has come forward to take up the Gachibowli project at a cost of Rs 30 crore, while the Skill University is being developed with Rs 150 crore support from Megha Group under CSR.

In a strong warning, the Chief Minister said that forces obstructing Hyderabad’s growth, including the Musi Rejuvenation project and Bharat Future City, are “enemies of development.” He recalled how similar resistance was seen in the past during the construction of Hitec City. “Those who stall the Musi project, Bharat Future City and city expansion are enemies of Hyderabad’s future.

We will give a befitting reply to such forces,” the CM asserted. Unveiling the broader vision under ‘Telangana Rising 2047’, the Chief Minister said Hyderabad will not be competing with Bengaluru and Chennai, but with global metropolises like Tokyo and New York. “By 2035, the entire world will look towards Hyderabad as one of the most sought-after cities,” he declared.

Revanth Reddy recalled the historical contributions that shaped Hyderabad – from the Qutb Shahi rulers who built the original city, to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi who sowed the seeds of India’s IT revolution. He reminded that it was the Congress government that laid the foundation for Hitech City, attracting global IT giants to Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister stressed that the Old City is not just the “Old City” but the “Original City of Hyderabad.” He announced that the Musi Rejuvenation Project will restore the city’s past glory, with plans to bring Godavari water to Musi to ensure continuous flow for 365 days. The Musi Riverfront will be developed as a world-class urban attraction, he said.

The CM reiterated that city expansion alongside development is essential for creating new employment and livelihood opportunities. As part of this, the government is also planning to construct Rajiv Swagruha Housing projects in the city for the middle class.

The foundation stone event at Gachibowli was attended by Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Sridhar Babu, CM’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Legislative Council Chief Whip Patnam Mahender Reddy, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, senior officials and chairpersons of various corporations.
