To promote awareness of indigenous products, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch (SJM) organized a student rally at Nizam College under the campaign ‘Swadeshi, Suraksha aur Swavalamban Abhiyan.’

Addressing the students, Telangana State Prachar Pramukh Keshav Soni emphasized the need to adopt Swadeshi not just as a sentiment but as a daily practice. He warned against excessive reliance on foreign goods, especially from nations like China and Turkey, and highlighted how supporting Indian products strengthens the economy and safeguards national interests.

Soni noted that since 1991, SJM has promoted economic self-reliance, urging citizens to support local industries, artisans, and institutions. In an era where trade and currency are used as tools of domination, Swadeshi offers economic security and national resilience. He recalled Swadeshi’s role in India’s freedom struggle—not just for political freedom but for economic dignity and cultural pride.
