T-CHIP submits semiconductor roadmap to Telangana govt

Hyderabad: In a significant step toward establishing Telangana as a leading hub in India’s semiconductor ecosystem, Sundeep Kumar Makthala, Chairman & Managing Director of T-CHIP (Technology Chip Innovation Program), on Monday presented a comprehensive Detailed Project Report (DPR) on semiconductors to the Hon’ble Minister for IT & Industries, D Sridhar Babu, at the Telangana Secretariat.

The Minister lauded the T-CHIP delegation for their meticulous and insightful report, recognizing its strategic value in advancing Telangana’s ambitions to emerge as a key player in the global semiconductor landscape.

The DPR is the culmination of extensive international research and high-level interactions conducted by the T-CHIP team during their visits to Taiwan and Hong Kong. The delegation engaged with global semiconductor leaders including TSMC, ARM, Synopsys, Faraday Technology, PUFsecurity, PUFacademy, GUS Technology, LiteMax, Supermicro, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI), and also participated in TAIROS (Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robot Show).
