The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is gearing up to host its annual Mahanadu in Kadapa with grandeur and a festive spirit, according to Minister Nara Lokesh. In preparation for the party's flagship event, Lokesh chaired a high-level meeting with convenors and co-convenors of various Mahanadu committees at the TDP National Headquarters in Mangalagiri, ahead of the Politburo meeting.
Lokesh emphasized the need for meticulous planning to ensure a smooth and successful Mahanadu without any logistical hurdles. During the meeting, he held detailed discussions with party leaders and ministers about the arrangements and assigned specific responsibilities to ministers and senior party functionaries.
Speaking at the meeting, Lokesh recalled the party's legacy of conducting Mahanadu with a celebratory spirit since the time of party founder N.T. Rama Rao. “Be it in opposition or in power, we have never compromised on organizing Mahanadu. Even when the previous government placed multiple obstacles, people voluntarily attended and made it a grand success,” he said.
The meeting resolved to hold Mahanadu over three days, with each day dedicated to specific themes
Day 1: Discussions on TDP’s ideology, policies, and future roadmap.
Day 2: Debates on various developmental and welfare initiatives undertaken by the coalition government for the state.
Day 3: A massive public meeting is planned to culminate the event.
