State Mines, Geology and Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra on Wednesday instructed the officials to complete all arrangements at the earliest so that the Manginapudi beach festival can be held for four days in the first week of June in the name of “Masula Fest”. On Wednesday, the Minister visited the Manginapudi beach and inspected various arrangements going on there and made suggestions to the officials. At first, Minister Kollu Ravindra inspected the welcome arches being set up by film art director Ramana at the entrance.
It was suggested to widen the main road at the beach and set up an intersection in the middle and construct a road from there to the helipad. Later, speaking to media persons, the Minister said that film art director Ramana Vanka has been called in to make the beach celebrations attractive and under his guidance, welcome arches and assembly towers are being installed at the entrance . The Minister also mentioned that Machilipatnam beach will be developed as one of the most spectacular tourist destinations in history and also be made as a “Gateway to Amaravati”.
