Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said on Sunday the Telangana government has decided to organise Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba's 100th birthday celebrations in a grand manner. He said the government is also ready to support the Satya Sai Baba Trust to extend its services in Telangana.
Participating in the divine centenary celebrations of Satya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, on Sunday, the Chief Minister extended heartfelt greetings to everyone. He said it was a rare opportunity and also an honour for him to be present in the celebrations .Revanth Reddy said remembering Baba's services to the people by winning the hearts of crores of devotees.
Praising Baba as an “inspiration to millions of people even after leaving for the heavenly abode”, he recalled that Satya Sai trust competed with the governments and provided free education to the poor from KG and PG. “Baba is being considered as God for providing free medical treatment to the poor and the trust also quenched the thirst of people by solving drinking water problem in Palamuru district," Revanth Reddy said.
He commended the Trust for its continuous services in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and many parts of the world and said that the trust was rendering services in 140 countries. The Chief Minister said that the very fact that dignitaries from all over the world were participating in the celebrations it shows the sanctity of the land.

Vice President hails Sathya Sai Baba as 'Great Emissary of God'
Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan on Sunday described Sri Sathya Sai Baba as “a Great Emissary of God, of peace, love, and selfless service,” whose message and mission transcended all barriers of caste, religion, class, and nationality. Speaking at the centenary celebrations of Satya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, on Sunday, the Vice President said that Baba’s guiding principles—“Love All, Serve All” and “Help Ever, Hurt Never”—shaped every initiative he undertook and every life he touched.
Quoting the saint-poet Thiruvalluvar’s Kural, the Vice-President noted that Sri Sathya Sai Baba epitomised this timeless truth by devoting his entire life to loving and serving humanity.Emphasizing Baba’s teachings rooted in Sathya (truth), Dharma (righteousness), Shanthi (peace), Prema (love), and Ahimsa (non-violence), the Vice-President said these eternal values remain essential for building a harmonious and progressive society.
Highlighting the far-reaching impact of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, he praised its extensive initiatives in healthcare, education, and social welfare.He highlighted Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s pivotal contribution in rejuvenating the Telugu Ganga canal, which ensured drinking water supply to Chennai—an act of service that the people of Tamil Nadu will always remember.
