Telangana Padma awardees honoured

Lions Clubs International District 320 A honoured five Padma Awardees from Telangana with the LIFE Awards 2026 during its annual installation function held on July 26. The event, attended by around 800 delegates, recognised their exceptional contributions in medicine, science, engineering, and arts.

The awardees honoured were Dr Palkonda Vijay Anand Reddy, Dr Guduru Venkat Rao, Dr Kumaraswamy Thangaraj, Dr Deepika Reddy and Dr Krishnaswamy Balasubramanian. Past International Director Sunil Kumar R presented their achievements and highlighted their service to society and humanity. LIFE trophies and citations were presented by senior Lions leaders, including Premchand Bafana, Dr G Babu and District Governor Suresh Jagnani. The awardees thanked Lions International for the recognition.
