Telangana RTI and HRC appeal govt to reduce pressure on Intermediate students

The Telangana RTI and Human Rights Activists Association has urged the government to take immediate steps to reduce the increasing stress and mental burden on intermediate students in the state.  Representatives of the association said that their aim is not only to protect the well-being and safety of students, but also to create a safe educational environment. 

In the petition issued by the association, it has been suggested that “stress-free management boards” should be made mandatory in all colleges across the state to protect the mental health of students.  They also demanded that free bus services be provided to all intermediate students and that transportation facilities be provided based on student identity cards. 

This will enable students from poor and middle-class families to reach colleges easily, they said. The program was attended by Ajay Kumar - Chairman, Dara Mounika - President, Venkat Narasimha Reddy - General Secretary, Sai Prasad Rao - Awareness Program In-charge, Srinivas - Legal Advisor.Sai Venkat Rao - Coordinator, Prem Kumar Member and others participated.
