The Award Distribution Ceremony for Officer Cadets of the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) course No. 46 was held on Saturday at the Cadets Training Wing of the Military College of Electronics & Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad. A total of 23 cadets, including two from the Royal Bhutan Army, were honoured.

The ceremony was presided over by Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney, VSM, Commandant of MCEME and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of EME, who presented medals and distinctions for excellence in academics, sports, and military training.

Wing Cadet Adjutant Akhilesh Dhayani received the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Gold Medal, while Platoon Cadet Captain Tenzin Dorji of Bhutan was awarded the Gold Medal for Best in Outdoor Training. Prithvi Raj Platoon was presented with the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Banner for the Autumn Term 2025.

Addressing the cadets, Lt Gen Varshney said the four years of rigorous training had transformed them into leaders capable of operating with confidence and without supervision. He urged them to embrace consistent hard work and delayed gratification as they embark on their military careers.
