Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin on Saturday alleged that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders were distributing cash to voters in several parts of Jubilee Hills ahead of the November 11 by-election.
Talking to newsmen, he charged that BRS functionaries were directly offering money while simultaneously circulating fabricated videos to falsely accuse Congress workers of similar practices. He said the opposition had intensified its 'misinformation campaign' using doctored visuals, manipulated audio clips, and AI-generated content as the campaign deadline approaches on November 9.
Nizamuddin asserted that the Congress did not need to lure voters, citing its development record and the extensive campaign led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He said the strong public response indicated a “clear edge” for Congress candidate Naveen Yadav. Reports from the ground had created “visible panic” within the BRS, pushing it toward unethical tactics. Urging Congress workers to stay vigilant until polling ends on November 11, he said the party would ensure no bribery or intimidation goes unchecked.
Nizamuddin said the contrast was clear: "The Congress campaign is driven by transparency and public trust, while the BRS’s last-minute actions expose its insecurity."
