TG Rising Global Summit to feature nobel laureates

Nobel laureates Abhijit Banerjee and Kailash Satyarthi, along with Trump Media and Technology Group Director Eric Swider, will speak at the inaugural session of the 'Telangana Rising Global Summit,' scheduled for December 8-9, the state government announced. Biocon Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw will also address the event.

The summit will bring together leaders from over 20 sectors, including IT, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, financial services, and energy. A total of 27 specialized sessions will cover technology, sustainable development, infrastructure, healthcare, sports, and economic growth. Key focus areas include technology and innovation, net zero 2047, the proposed Future City, infrastructure, and investment opportunities.

Over 2,500 participants from 42 countries have registered, highlighting Telangana’s aim to position itself as a global investment and innovation hub. Governor Jishnu Dev Varma will inaugurate the summit at 1 PM on December 8.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka expressed hope that ongoing airline connectivity issues would be resolved by the summit dates and assured alternative arrangements, including special flights for key dignitaries, if needed.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy recently inspected the summit venue at the proposed Bharat Future City on Hyderabad’s outskirts. He directed officials to ensure world-class arrangements and instructed the installation of a 'Telangana Thalli' statue at the venue.

The government will also unveil its 'Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document' during the summit, outlining plans to transform Telangana into a USD three trillion economy by 2047. The document will cover sectoral development, investment strategies, technology partnerships, and innovation initiatives, underscoring the state’s vision for transformative growth.
