Actor-producer Kiran Abbavaram expressed confidence that his upcoming film Thimmarajupalli TV will set a benchmark for small-budget cinema, speaking at the film’s pre-release event held in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Produced under KA Productions in association with Sumaira Studios, the film introduces newcomers Sai Tej and Veda Jalandhar, with V. Muniraju making his directorial debut.
Set in a rural backdrop, the period drama is slated for theatrical release on April 17. The event saw participation from the cast and crew, many of whom highlighted the opportunity given to fresh talent. Several actors, including Sai Krishna, Anil, and Lathish, credited Abbavaram for supporting newcomers and creating a platform for aspiring artists.
Technicians also emphasized the film’s efforts to recreate village traditions and culture. Cinematographer Akshay Ram Podishetty noted that the film was shot in scenic locations like Kuppam, while the team worked extensively for over a year to achieve quality output.
Speaking at the event, Abbavaram said the film carries the hopes of many newcomers and stressed that supporting new talent is a responsibility. He added that despite its small budget, the film will impress audiences with its technical quality and engaging narrative.
