Saiyaara team reunites for new intense romantic film

The hit Saiyaara team is reuniting for a new untitled romantic film, bringing back director Mohit Suri, producer Akshaye Widhani, and lead actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda under Yash Raj Films.

After the massive success of Saiyaara, which became one of the highest-grossing romantic films in Indian cinema with strong music-driven appeal, the team is set to return with another intense love story. The earlier film reportedly earned around Rs 338 crore nett in India and nearly Rs 580 crore worldwide, powered by its popular soundtrack that remained on streaming charts for months.

The upcoming project will continue Mohit Suri’s signature style of emotional, music-rich romance. The pairing of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, popularly called “Ahneet” by fans, is expected to once again bring strong chemistry to the screen.

Mohit Suri said the reunion feels special and creatively refreshing, adding that he wants to explore deeper emotions through music and storytelling. Akshaye Widhani also noted that the collaboration aims to deliver a more honest and heartfelt cinematic experience.

The film will go on floors later this year and is planned for a worldwide theatrical release in 2027.
