On credible information, Jeedimetla Police on Monday arrested a three-member house burglary gang in a house burglary case, which happened on July 2. On July 3, police received a complaint from Nelage Sangamesh. He stated that, on July 2, he left home in the afternoon to visit his mother-in-law in Muthangi near Patancheru. His daughter called him around 11:30pm to ask if he was returning home.
He told her to close the doors but not lock them. When he returned at 1:15am on July 3, he found his mother and daughter frightened. His daughter told him she saw an unknown person leaving the house. It was then discovered that Rs 3,50,000 and a VIVO mobile phone were missing from the house.
On Monday, while trying to dispose of a stolen mobile, the suspects were stopped at Shapurnagar X road during a vehicle checking. They failed to produce documents and were taken to the police station. During interrogation, they confessed voluntarily. Based on their statements, the police seized net cash Rs 2,15,000 and a mobile phone from the possession of the accused persons.
