Commissioner’s Task Force, South-East Zone Team along with staff of Abids PS arrested three persons, who are procuring and selling the banned E-cigarettes and seized huge banned Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems i.e., two e-cigarettes, two wheelers and three Apple Phones, all worth of Rs 10 lakh.

Arrested identified as Mohd Sultan Khan (38), resident of Kattal Mandi, Abids, Mohd Kabir Hussain (22), resident of Shalibanda and Mohd Moid Pasha (23), resident of Fateh Darwaza.

Police have seized 190 various flavors of banned E-cigarettes, two wheelers, three Apple Phones, net cash of Rs 13,500, all worth of Rs 10 lakh.

On credible information, police arrested these three accused who are in possession of different brands of banned E-cigarettes of various flavors of Elfbar- 30k puffs - 190 pieces on their two wheeler on Friday.

These E-cigarettes contain nicotine, a harmful substance dangerous to human health, and were being sold in public for monetary gain. Through enquiry, it is revealed that Mohd Sultan Khan procured the above banned E-cigarettes from Sami through Asif and selling the same to needy customers on higher prices through Mohd Kabir Hussain and Mohd Moid Pasha on commission basis and gaining profits illegally.
