Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamshi Krishna voiced serious concern over the rail disruption caused by the sinking of a railway track near the Kunaram flyover, which falls under the Peddapalli Lok Sabha constituency.

Citing the inconvenience to the public due to halted train services, the MP promptly reached out to senior officials of South Central Railway and the Union Ministry of Railways via telephone. He urged them to submit a comprehensive report immediately and identify permanent solutions to rectify the issue at the earliest.

"Our government gives utmost priority to public transport safety. Preventive measures must be ensured so that such incidents are not repeated. A complete technical inspection of the flyover's structural integrity must be conducted," the MP stated.

He further stressed the need for an inquiry to determine whether supervisory negligence or maintenance lapses led to the situation.
