It is expected that about 30 counters will be set up for devotees to obtain these tokens. Along with these 30 counters, 30 more scanning face recognition entrances will also be set up at the Vaikuntam Queue Complex in a similar manner for face recognition

j deepak I hyderabad :

Here is some good news for devotees to Tirumala. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Governing Council is mulling over the idea of harnessing   ‘Artificial Intelligence’ on the lines of ‘DigiYatra’ to make a darshan of the Lord hassle free. Devotees arriving at Tirumala for Darshan will first be given a receipt with their Aadhaar card number and face recognition, in which they will be given a token in the form of a Digi Locker indicating the time of Darshan.

Devotees who have taken this token will reach the Vaikuntam Queue Complex at the time indicated to them, and will have the opportunity to enter the queue line directly through the face recognition entrance set up there, after completing the scanning in a few moments. In addition, there will be an opportunity to complete the darshan of the Lord and come out of the temple within just an hour.

Just as the Digi Locker system is being implemented automatically at airports without the need for staff, in the same way, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is ready to provide all the necessary infrastructure to provide devotees with the darshan within just an hour.

Four foreign companies have already come forward to provide the artificial intelligence software required for the implementation of this policy to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. TTD has provided complete details to the software companies regarding the policy already being implemented in TTD, the policy allowing devotees to visit, the conditions of TTD, the number of devotees coming to Tirumala daily, the information being collected from them, etc.

To this end, the AI system that will soon be implemented will be demonstrated experimentally by artificial intelligence experts to TTD senior officials through a projector presentation for a week from Wednesday. TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu has already held discussions on this issue with TTD EO Shyamala Rao, Additional EO CH Venkaiah Chowdhury, Chief Security Officer Sridhar and others. After gaining a complete understanding of Artificial Intelligence, discussions will be held with representatives of thesecompanies that have come forward. After an agreement, all necessary arrangements are being made to make this system available to devotees within three months.

It is reported that TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu has already met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to discuss the full details of the implementation of the new idea.
