Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise, known globally for his iconic roles and death-defying stunts, has expressed deep admiration for India and a strong desire to work in the Indian film industry. His remarks come ahead of the highly anticipated release of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which hits theatres in India.
As part of the film’s global promotional campaign, Cruise shared heartfelt memories of his time in India and his appreciation for Indian culture, cinema, and people.
“I feel so much love for India. It’s an amazing country with incredible people and culture,” said the actor.
“Every single moment — from landing in India, visiting the Taj Mahal, to spending time in Mumbai — is etched in my memory.”
Cruise also praised Bollywood’s unique storytelling style: “I love Bollywood films—the dancing, the singing, the spontaneity. It’s something I’ve grown up watching. The skill it takes to act, sing and dance is incredible.” Expressing his enthusiasm for Indian cinema, he added, “I would love to make a Bollywood-style film. It would be so much fun.”
