GHMC Commissioner K. Ilambarithi inspected several key development projects initiated under the Hyderabad City Innovative and Transformative Infrastructure (H-CITI) initiative. The projects, worth Rs 7032 cr, aim to control traffic congestion across the city through the construction of flyovers, underpasses, railway under-bridges, and road widening.
During the inspection, Commissioner Ilambarithi, along with project Chief Engineers and Town Planning officials, visited several proposed project sites, including Nanal Nagar, Retibowli, Khajaguda Junction, IIIT, Wipro Junction, and DLF Junction. He instructed the officials to expedite the tender process and complete the necessary land acquisition to commence the projects.
Commissioner Ilambarithi also visited the Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital to Road No. 1 Banjara Hills and Chintal Basti to Khairatabad areas to assess road widening initiatives aimed at alleviating traffic issues. He emphasized the importance of swift execution and directed officials to ensure all preparations are in place for the commencement of these projects.
