TPCC chief and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud launched a scathing attack on the BJP, alleging that the party orchestrated a conspiracy to increase its strength in the Rajya Sabha by targeting Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan. Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, Mahesh Goud claimed that no formal case existed against Natarajan and that only a notice had been issued. Describing her as a Gandhian and a person of integrity, he alleged that the Prime Minister’s Office intervened in the matter and accused the BJP of undermining democratic institutions.

The TPCC chief said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had ordered a comprehensive inquiry into the alleged “leakage” issue and vowed action against those responsible. Accusing the BJP of “stealing votes and now a seat”, Goud alleged that democratic values were being trampled upon for political gain.
