To ensure smooth conduct of the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh festivities, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced traffic restrictions in the surrounding areas. These restrictions will be implemented daily from August 27 to September 6, starting from 11 am until late night, depending on the flow of devotees.

Rajiv Gandhi Statue to Mint Compound: Traffic will be diverted towards Nirankari Junction. Saifabad Old PS to Bada Ganesh via Rajdoot Lane: Vehicles will be rerouted to Iqbal Minar. Iqbal Minar to IMAX Theatre via Mint Compound: Diversion at Secretariat Temple ‘X’ road towards Telugu Thalli junction. Necklace Rotary to Mint Compound: Vehicles will be diverted to Telugu Thalli junction or via the Khairatabad flyover.

Nirankari via Khairatabad Post Office lane to Khairatabad railway gate: Diversion towards Saifabad Old PS junction. Motorists should expect heavy traffic at the following locations and are advised to avoid them if possible: Khairatabad, Shadan College, Nirankari, Saifabad Old PS, Mint Compound and Necklace Rotary Junction. Parking arrangements for visitors: Race Road, NTR Ghat, HMDA parking beside IMAX Theatre, Open space opposite IMAX Theatre, Saraswathi Vidya Mandir High School premises and Vishweshwaraiah Bhavan.

The traffic police urged all commuters and devotees to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with traffic personnel for a safe and smooth celebration.
