Officials attributed the growth not only to increased pilgrim inflow but also to enhanced production capacity. To meet rising demand, TTD scaled up daily laddu production from 3.5 lakh to nearly 4 lakh units.
The iconic Tirumala Srivari Laddu Prasadam has scripted a new record in 2025, with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) selling 13.52 crore laddus to devotees during the year. This marks a significant increase of 1.37 crore laddus compared to the 12.15 crore laddus sold in 2024, reflecting a strong surge in pilgrim demand.
According to TTD officials, laddu sales in 2025 registered nearly 10 percent growth, underlining the steady rise in footfall at Tirumala throughout the year. The upward trend was particularly seen during peak pilgrimage periods such as Vaikunta Dwara Darshan, the annual Brahmotsavams, weekends, and long holiday spells, when lakhs of devotees thronged the hill shrine.
In another notable milestone, TTD created a single-day record on December 27, when 5.13 lakh laddus were sold in one day, the highest ever daily sale recorded by the temple administration.
Officials attributed the growth not only to increased pilgrim inflow but also to enhanced production capacity. To meet rising demand, TTD scaled up daily laddu production from 3.5 lakh to nearly 4 lakh units. The record-breaking year was further bolstered by exceptional monthly sales. In July 2025 alone, laddu sales reportedly touched a value of Rs 62.2 crore, playing a crucial role in pushing annual figures to an all-time high.
Temple officials said the sustained growth in laddu sales reflects not just operational efficiency but also the unwavering devotion of pilgrims, reaffirming the Srivari Laddu’s status as one of the most revered and sought-after temple prasadam in the country. The enduring faith of devotees in the quality and taste of the Srivari Laddu continues to be a key driver behind its consistently high demand.
