TTD sanctions Rs 230 cr for employees’ housing plots

Tirumala Tirupatibbb Devasthanam (TTD) employees and retired employees are set to receive a major boost in resolving their long-pending housing plot issues, with the Andhra Pradesh government agreeing to sanction Rs 230 crore for the development of employees’ housing plots. The decision follows efforts by TTD Chairman Dr B.R. Naidu, members of the Housing Sub-Committee and leaders of various TTD employees’ associations. 

The delegation met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and held detailed discussions on the development of housing plots allotted to TTD employees. The Chief Minister responded positively to the request and agreed to sanction Rs 230 crore for the development of the housing plots. He also directed TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra, IAS, to expedite the entire process and ensure that the pending procedures are completed at the earliest. 

The Chief Minister further instructed officials to immediately complete the process concerning the Pallam housing plots and take steps to allot plots to employees and retired employees who have already received proceedings. The announcement has brought cheer among TTD employees, retired employees and their families, who have been awaiting a permanent resolution to the housing issue. 

Chairman BR Naidu assured employees that the TTD governing board would continue to focus on their welfare. He urged employees to provide devotees with quality and dedicated services, assuring them that the board would support employees and their families in matters concerning education, healthcare, medical needs, welfare and other essential facilities.

The TTD Chairman and Housing Sub-Committee members expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for taking the initiative to resolve the housing issue. They also thanked Housing Sub-Committee members Jyotula Nehru, Panabaka Lakshmi, Naresh Kumar, Golkonda Venkatesham and V. Ramachandra, Welfare Deputy EO Anand Raju, EO Muddada Ravichandra and leaders of various TTD employees’ associations for their cooperation.
