A tragic road accident occurred on the Warangal National Highway in the early hours of Saturday, claiming two lives and leaving four others seriously injured. The accident took place at around 2:30 a.m. near Govardhagiri Dargah in Raghunathpalli Mandal of Jangaon district. According to police, an Ertiga car was traveling from Hyderabad towards Hanamkonda when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to plunge into a roadside ditch.

Six people were traveling in the car at the time of the accident. Two occupants, identified as M.D. Asad (26) and Apsa Habib (27), died on the spot. Four others—driver Rahamuddin Khan, Shahid Begum, Ilesha, and Reshma—sustained severe injuries.
